The third race of the summer series was competed for last night in some strong westerly breezes warranting some series reefing throughout the 8 boat fleet!

It turned out to be a very fun sail again honours taken by Blue Bird

Thanks to all who competed and for the help in laying the course from Thornley.

Amended handicaps attached in the results.

Do we have any volunteers to lay a course next week?

Last night 8 boats competed the 2nd race in our summer series. The forecast 10 - 17 kts grew into a 22 -30kt grueler from the NE amongst building seas.

A sea best suited to the heavier cruisers that can be seen in the results. With the exception of Jessica who was relishing her Nordic heritage in such conditions.

Thanks to John Briggs for the help laying the marks and to Blue Bird , Jessica, Fingal and Dreamcatcher s crew for their retrieval in a growing sea!

Thanks all …. New handicap in the results.

Congratulations to all who competed and thanks to Thornley for helping with laying the course and to both Double Scotch and Dove for helping bring the marks in.
