Alan’s words……..

Player of the Week

Fresh from her holiday, returning to training with real purpose. She threw herself into the fitness work, digging deep and showing she was ready to graft. It set the tone for the rest of her session.

In the game she was relentless. Any time she lost the ball, she chased it down without hesitation. Her effort lifted the tempo around her, when she played as a striker, she showed some lovely touches — calm, composed moments that stood out.

A brilliant return 👏👏

Player of the week

Another player back from her holiday, full of energy and looking sharp. In the attack‑versus‑defence drill she read the situation brilliantly, spotting space before anyone else and driving into it with purpose. Her finish was calm and classy — a lovely goal.

During the training game she really listened to the coaching points. She slowed herself down at the right moments, stayed composed, and her passing accuracy improved straight away. You could see her confidence rising with each involvement.

A really impressive week 👏👏

U10 Girls Blues Team Captains 👏👏

Determination and great effort is always rewarded, both girls have shown excellent leadership skills on and off the pitch with their tireless work rate during games and supporting their team mates off the pitch.

Both girls have been excellent in two very tense matches this week. They continue to listen and put the advice in to practice.

Excellent goalkeeping from two of our players too, who ran so hard, both complained of sore feet

What a pleasure it has been to coach this young girl.

Alan’s words…..

“I’ve been really impressed with her attitude, offered to be the GK last week and was congratulating her team mates at full time today. On the pitch she’s making excellent progress. She’s starting to look comfortable in a few different positions. She was really good at running into space, rather than following the ball. Her enthusiasm for receiving instructions from the sideline, is a delight. Well done 👏👏”

As a side note…she needs some Velcro boots 😂😂😂

Player of the Week!

This player has shown really good instincts in reading the game. I’m not sure she knows she’s doing it, it seems really natural with her.
The last few weeks she’s always in the right place to receive a pass. She has been getting into excellent positions on the wings especially when on the right hand side.

She’s also taking her time when the ball is available and not rushing things. Alan was also really impressed at her work rate today. She was exhausted when she came off the first time. Lay perfectly still and horizontal for 5 mins then jumped up and went back on. What a trooper. Well done 👏👏

U10 Girls, Blues-Players of the week.

Not just this week but the last few weeks both girls have been very coachable. Listening and trying to put things in practice.

In today’s training game this young player held her position superbly and was committed and brave in every challenge. Whenever the opportunity arose she tried to control the ball and pass when she could. 👏

This young keeper showed good instincts to roll the ball out quickly but when asked to hold on, she did exactly that, this let her team get into shape before going long. During the game she quickly learned, when to get rid of the ball quickly or at a slower pace. 👏

Excellent work from both girls doing really well in a brand new team.
