Best of luck to all our players who are collecting their GCSE results today.
If you've tackled those exams like you do your darts, then im sure you'll have done just fine......likewise, if you haven't getting the grades you had hoped for, remember these exams dont define you, you still have options and Darts Academy North East are always at hand to support.

More fantastic news.....as 4 of our players have had their qualification to the JDC Super 16 confirmed!

Alfie Knox, Seth Smiles, Tyler Jay and Robbie Easton have qualified for the prestigious event on the 31st October/1st November through finishing in the Top 16 of the JDC England Academy Order of Merit.

The event, held in Bristol, will play down to the Last 2 with the final being played on the main stage during the PDC Grand Slam of Darts!

The lads will be looking to join the stellar list of junior dart players who have won this competition previously, like Keane Barry, Joseph Westby, Lewis Cook, Jack Johnson and of course, Luke Littler.

Unbelievable achievement lads, we're right behind you's!

Massive shout out for Alfie Knox who had an exceptional weekend representing Team England in Glenrothes.
Yesterday, playing alongside Lancashires George Booth in the pairs, they had a great run to the Semi Final and in the individual singles round robin, Alfie went unbeaten in the group stage, only to be beaten by his Team England teammate Kaleb Gascoigne.
Today, in the team event Alfie again won all of his games, providing England with some valuable points.
Unfortunately Team England couldn't retain their title, being narrowly beaten off the very talented Team Scotland.
Fantastic effort from Alfie, we're all immensely proud of you.
In his own words Alfie said he was "buzzing" with how he played.......and you cant say fairer than that!.

Hey everyone.

Just thought id give you all a heads up for our summer opening hours.

Obviously with holidays, nice weather etc etc attendances historically dwindle over the next few months, so weve adapted a few things so it's fair on those still wanting to come along for the practice, likewise allowing us to organise ample coach cover too.
