All swimmers must wear a wetsuit for the first lesson. I'm happy to coach 'skins' swimmers once I understand each individuals tolerance of cold water. About me:
I started swimming at the age of 4, and started competitive pool swimming at the age of 8 until 16. I competed up to North Eastern County Level and won hundreds of medals. I took up Masters competitive swimming between the ages of 21 and 30, and I took up open water swimming at the age of 34, in 2014. I have competed in numerous open water swimming competitions ranging in distance from 1mile to 5km. My passion is now to coach others to become the best open water swimmer they can possibly be, or to simply enjoy open water swimming, and become water confident.
