We’re saying a big goodbye to Charlotte as she heads back to university.

A naturally talented rugby player, an incredible teammate and someone who could always be relied on to bring energy to the pitch, she’s been such a brilliant part of our team.

Good luck at uni, and remember, you’ll always have a place here at Bletchley! 🏉🦢

At Bletchley RFC, player welfare is an important part of supporting our club community, both on and off the pitch.

Verity is our Player Welfare Officer, providing a listening ear and a point of contact for players who may need support.

Her role includes:
💙 Supporting players dealing with long-term injuries
🏉 Helping players through challenges that may impact their rugby and wellbeing
🤝 Being available to listen and offer support when needed
📞 Helping long-term injured players stay connected with the club and teammates
🙌 Ensuring players know there is always someone they can approach

Whether facing a lengthy injury, challenges away from the pitch, or simply needing someone to talk to, Verity is there to offer support and a friendly, confidential ear.

At Bletchley RFC, we’re about more than rugby — we’re about community, connection, and looking after one another. 💙🏉

𝗞𝗬𝗟𝗘 𝗚𝗜𝗕𝗕𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗕 𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗡

Bletchley RUFC is delighted to announce the appointment of Kyle Gibbings as Club Captain for the 2026/27 season.

Kyle has been part of Bletchley Rugby Club for more than two decades, having progressed through our junior and Colts setup before representing both the 1st XV and 2nd XV, still playing 1st XV rugby to this day!

His contribution to the club has also extended beyond the men’s section, with Kyle previously serving as the Head Coach within our Women’s team.

The Club Captain role sits above the individual captains of our Men’s, Women’s and Colts sections, providing leadership, support and a visible presence across the whole club.

Kyle will work closely with each section’s captains, coaches and club management, helping to strengthen communication, promote shared standards and ensure that every playing section remains connected.

A clubman through and through, Kyle’s long-standing commitment to Bletchley, his experience across multiple sections and the respect he holds throughout Manor Fields make him the ideal person to take on this important role.

Bletchley Rugby Club is looking for Matchday Medical Cover to support our Women’s team throughout the 2026/27 season.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable pitch-side experience, maintain their skills, or become involved with a thriving community rugby club.

The Commitment
🏉 Approximately 2 Sunday fixtures per month
🏉 Home and away matches
🏉 Matchday cover only (around 4 hours per fixture)
🏉 Approximately 8 hours per month

Minimum Requirement
✅ A valid First Aid qualification

Whether you’re a qualified first aider, first responder, or studying or working in sports therapy, physiotherapy, rehabilitation or another healthcare profession, we’d love to hear from you. Additional medical qualifications are welcomed but are not essential.

You’ll become an important part of our matchday team, supporting player welfare and helping ensure our players have the appropriate medical provision in place both home and away.
