New edition of Uncommon Sense out now
Uncommon Sense is a practical guide offering simple, inexpensive lifestyle changes to help you improve your health, optimise your weight and increase your vitality. It was initially written as a manual for my clients to help them achieve the best possible results though a better understanding of why his coaching is sometimes unconventional and of what actions are needed. I published Uncommon Sense so others can get the same results and have fun in the process.
With a belief that there is too much information out there but not enough application the approach is intended to be practical and user-friendly; with the ‘At a glance’ and ‘Practical implementation’ sections providing the core, need-to-know information. ‘Some detail’ is provided for those who wish to dig a little deeper.
"Ollie Martin has done the world a great favour by distilling health and wellness down into those key topics and bits of information that should be ‘common sense’, but sadly, are not today. Those wanting a straight-forward book to guide them into living well will be pleased with this simple, easy to apply book written by a truly skilled CHEK Institute-trained Holistic Lifestyle Coach"

Amazon reviews:
"This book brings a no nonsense and practical approach to fitness. It dispels a lot of the health and fitness myths we have been sold over the years, the message that fitness is as unique as we are really resonated with me. The book is very well written and easy to understand with practical examples in each section. The first time I picked the book up I couldn't put it down as finally I was reading something about my fitness and my wellbeing that actually made sense. I thoroughly recommend this book for anyone who is prepared to open their minds to a new approach to fitness."
"Tried so many health and fitness books but this one blows them all out of the water. No waffle, just fascinating information and advice. A lot of new concepts that constantly had me thinking “well that makes sense!” (hence the title). It will change the way you look at health, eating, fitness and training. Read cover to cover then dip in and out. One I’ll be going back to time and time again."
"Fantastic book clear and succinct advice in a world full of rot and confusion. If there was ever a time for this book it is now there is so much noise making us all confused, we all need to take some time to look after ourselves and learn from previous generations, some of whom got it right. Great Book."
"I am a personal trainer and absolutely loved this book. A refreshing and informative look at fitness, vitality and health backed up with science. I would definitely recommend this book to others interested in helping themselves to feel better."
