Our first team looking to add a 9th win to their season against promotion chasing Brackley.
Our second team hoping to add a 7th win to their season against a Ridge side that took the win in the reverse fixture.

The final cricket match at Bledlow this season, with our 2nd team up the road at the Ridge, come along and support both teams if you can.

No cricket was possible for our sides on Saturday. Leaving one game to go with hopefully some sunshine to close out the season.

Sundays chairman’s day was good fun for those in attendance, the odd rain shower causing interruption but the T20 managed a result. The chairman the pick of the bowlers, Dan Walker kindly kicking one infront of middle to get him his first wicket☝🏻. Peel anchored the innings then accelerated his scoring when any ball short of length came his way. Zobel, welcoming as always dropped Marcus to allow him to punish the bowlers on his way to 50 and retired.
The chase for the Chairman’s XI never really got going, a late push from Zobel and Harman got close, but Teddy defending 17 runs off the final over was never in doubt with Bond only offering a dab then running past the penultimate ball of the over, bringing James Hawkins in for the final ball and Teddy with a c&b to wrap up the over and the game with 2 wickets in 2 balls.
Thanks to Dan for doing the BBQ provided by Roger and Angela for the doing the lovely selection of cakes. 💚

This weekends fixtures.
6th v 5th as our 1s travel to Leighton Buzzard aiming for a win to keep us in 5th spot.
And 5th v 3rd in 6C as a couple of wins would give the team a chance to overtake Long Marston who occupy 4th spot 5 points ahead of us currently.

Sunday we have Chairman’s day.
T20 - 1pm Start. Followed by a bbq and quite possibly beers too.

Let’s hope the weather holds out for a good weekend.
