Should’ve scored several on Sunday but couldn’t hit a barn door. A well played performance from the lads nevertheless but unfortunate to be knocked out the cup. Now we put our focus back on the league and getting a few points on the board👊🏻

Last night was a lively one. What looked like a tough game after going 2-0 down quickly turned around with two goals in rapid succession to get us back in it. We then went 3-2 up and thought we had it sealed, only to let it slip in the final minutes. A draw in the end which felt undeserved – Questionable from the ref as well for cutting the game minutes early and missing many of the Tyneside players head loss🤯

A tightly contested game where we took the lead in the first half after a well-worked move down the left and a composed finish from our striker. We controlled large spells of the first half and could’ve done with finishing our chances, but a good display from the Clayton keeper kept it tight.

Second half, Clayton came out sharper and eventually found the equaliser despite us holding firm under pressure. We still had moments to sn**ch a winner but couldn’t quite make it count unfortunately. Thanks to the Clayton Arms and good luck for the rest of the season🤝🏼
