Today’s KMAA/ITFHQ Colour Belt Promotion Test showcased the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of our students. Throughout the grading, participants demonstrated impressive technical ability, powerful techniques, and excellent speed across all aspects of their testing.

From fundamental movements and patterns to sparring, patterns and basic self defence, students displayed confidence and focus, proving that their countless hours of training have paid off.

Equally impressive was the determination shown by every student. Promotion tests are designed to challenge both physical and mental strength, and today’s candidates rose to that challenge with outstanding commitment and resilience. Their discipline, respect, and positive attitude throughout the examination embodied the true spirit of Taekwon-Do.

We are incredibly proud of everyone who stepped onto the floor today. Each student demonstrated not only the skills required for advancement but also the character and dedication that define a martial artist. Congratulations to all who tested—we look forward to seeing you continue your journey and achieve even greater success in the future.

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Dear ITFHQ Korea Family,
As we approach the holiday season and prepare to welcome a new year, I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on the achievements and progress we have made together throughout the past year.
First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all our members, instructors, masters, grandmasters, national organizations, and supporters around the world. Your trust, dedication, and belief in our vision continue to inspire us every day.
One of the highlights of this year has undoubtedly been the success of our Tul Tours program in Korea. Participants from many countries joined us on a unique journey that went far beyond technical training. Together, we explored the rich history of Taekwon-Do, gained a deeper understanding of the origins and meanings of our Tuls, and experienced the beauty of Korea, its people, and its culture.
What made these tours truly special was the spirit of friendship and unity that developed among participants. New international friendships were formed, knowledge was shared, and everyone returned home with a stronger connection to the roots of Taekwon-Do. The positive feedback we have received confirms that these programs have become an important part of our mission to preserve and promote the true values and history of our art.
Another major development this year has been our ongoing investment in digital innovation. Our team has been working diligently on a comprehensive digital platform that will soon be introduced to our members worldwide. This new system is designed to provide dojangs, instructors, and organizations with a user-friendly environment that simplifies administrative management and organizational processes. We believe this platform will become an essential tool for supporting the growth and professionalism of our members and organizations in the years ahead.
At the same time, ITFHQ Korea continues to strengthen its position within Korea through strategic partnerships and close cooperation with key stakeholders who share our commitment to the future of Taekwon-Do. These relationships are creating exciting opportunities that will help shape the future of ITF Taekwon-Do in Korea and further establish ITFHQ Korea as a leading force in preserving our heritage while embracing innovation.
As we celebrate this holiday season, let us also celebrate the friendships, achievements, and shared values that unite us as one Taekwon-Do family. Together, we are building a stronger future while honoring the traditions and principles that have guided us from the beginning.
On behalf of ITFHQ Korea, I wish you and your families a joyful holiday season.
Thank you for your continued support and trust.
With sincere appreciation,
Oh Chang Jin
President

One of our Young Squad members, Aaron Lees, attended the Mighty Fist Championships in Dundee today alongside his parents. Aaron was determined to compete at this event, and we cannot praise him enough for the strength, courage, and character he showed by taking on the challenge without the support of the squad in attendance.

After facing fierce competition in his sparring division, Aaron battled his way to a well-deserved 3rd place finish, earning a bronze medal. We are incredibly proud of his achievement and the effort he put in throughout the day.

Aaron also competed in the patterns division, which featured a large and highly competitive field in his category. Although he narrowly missed out on a placing and the points needed for another 3rd-place finish, he represented himself and the club brilliantly.

Congratulations, Aaron, on a fantastic performance and for showing such determination and sportsmanship throughout the championships. Master Kirkwood, Mr Miller and all the squad are super proud of you 👌👊
