☀️ Despite the heat, the Beat the Clock Challenge still brought plenty of smiles to Stourpaine Village Fête! 💦
With temperatures reaching around 33°C, it was always going to be a quieter day, but it was lovely to see children and families still coming over to have a go, cool off with a refreshing water mist and enjoy trying something a little different.
One of the highlights of the day was seeing how differently children approached the challenges. Some enjoyed the speed and excitement of the Beat the Clock Challenge, while others stayed to explore balance, coordination, movement and problem-solving through a series of fun activities.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped for a chat, had a go or came back for another challenge. Every conversation and every experience helps build more opportunities for children and families to discover running, cycling and multi-sport in a fun, welcoming environment.
Thank you to Julie and everyone involved in organising the return of the Stourpaine Village Fête. It was great to be part of it, and hopefully the Beat the Clock Challenge can return again in the future.
