Blandford & District Angling Club Established in 1954 Blandford & District Angling Club is a small friendly local fishing club based i Angling club for Blandford Forum and surrounding areas.

Established in 1954 offering fantastic value angling for river and lake venues in the vicinity of the River Stour. Lake access granted by use of swap books with partner angling clubs.

Financially, the Club is now in a much more secure position & a lot of our admin is supported by Clubmate. But despite this we need enthusiastic members to join the Committee to make up a healthy quorum & help with a range of tasks.
If the club is to carry on past its 75th anniversary in 2029, we need to begin the transition of responsibilities to a new committee i.e. secretary, treasurer etc.

Hi all, I received a phone call today regarding two people fishing at white mill , they were wearing chest waders and spinning for pike it’s believed, wading in the river, they climbed on to the back far side , and found two wildlife cameras which the farmer had set up to see if any mink are there as it’s hoped to reintroduce water voles one day, it recorded them finding them and they faced them down on ground , now they may not be Blandford members , I have not seen footage yet but please can you not interfere with these cameras and you should not be on the far bank, enjoy your fishing and don’t spoil it for others, thank you, yours secretary Peter.
