As most people know by now I recently took up running and have took part in a few event runs now with the main aim to finish the Bath Half Marathon in under 2 hours which I managed to do with a time of 1:58:14.

To most people running sounds awful including me who could barely run 10 minutes when I entered the bath half and now somehow running 2 hours would have been impossible a couple months ago.

Thanks to everyone who donated and pushed me to do this turns out It’s not that bad when you get into it 🏃wouldn’t have done all this without and keeping me on my toes and entering a race every week 🙄😂

On the 15th of October 2023 I will be running the the Bath half marathon with a few others.

I will personally be running in aid of Cancer research UK with the aim of raising £300 to donate to a good cause.

I’ve never been much of a runner so this will be a good test, but, I’m keen to do it and would be great to get a few of you to help me raise the money towards this. Not only to go to charity but motivate me to work even harder on the day 🏃‍♀️💨

Update my page with some comp content from a while ago.

Axle press event 13 reps 60s - I remember when I first trained for this I only managed to get 5 reps, just goes to show that training is a slow but rewarding process.

This video also highlights the support not only me but every competitor received during the event, everyone had your back which is probably why I PBd on every event.

Just want to say a massive thank you to Rob and everyone at for giving me the opportunity to change my life and for helping me so much to get to where I am now. I am extremely grateful for all the help you have all given me. 🙏🏻

I still have a long way to go and so much to learn but not in a million years did I ever think I’d be working in a place like this after being in an out of retail and factory work for 7 years.

I never thought my life would plan out like this and there is a lot more I could say but thanks to everyone who supported me and pushed me to do this, there are too many names to name but thank you all ❤️

When training, I believe in going into every set like it’s your top set (heaviest set) even if you’re not going heavy on the day. (Like me today)

Starting from getting focused to putting on a belt, lift off, feet position, breathing, etc. Squat, deadlift, bench and anything else even a bicep curl to make sure you get the most out of every set and this includes warm up sets especially.

Not only will you benefit from practicing technique and risk of injury but you will automatically lock in to what’s coming and attack every set like it’s your last instead of wasting time/energy changing your set up every time.

Find what works for you and stick to it 💯

Been a while since I’ve posted so bit of a motivational post in terms of training and time.

Since starting this job I’ve had to juggle around a few things with work and personal life with things going on (not necessarily bad things) and motivation and finding time has been hard.

Just because there are times in your life where things are not perfect and you are struggling for time and motivation, doesn’t mean it will be like that forever, you will find time and with good planning and positivity, you will find a way to get things done that work for you.

At the moment I’m training at least 4 times a week and that works for me and still have plenty of time for work/family etc. Just keep working on becoming a better version of yourself 💯💪🏻🔥
