What an evening for cricket! ☀️

We had 11 players down at training tonight, and it was great to see everyone enjoying themselves. It was also fantastic to welcome back Warren, one of our former players.

We’ve been restoring a number of old club bats, and Warren even spotted one he used back in the 1980s — a brilliant moment and a lovely bit of club history.

The banter was flowing, the atmosphere was spot on, and it really feels like the club is heading in the right direction — bringing back those great days gone by 🏏

Walking Cricket Update 🏏

A smaller group this week, but great to see everyone getting involved and enjoying cricket.

A huge thank you to Gary from Cricket Scotland for dropping by and delivering some new softball equipment to support the impending Walking Cricket campaign. The additional kit will be a fantastic help as we continue to grow the programme and make cricket accessible to more people in our community.

First chance for adult play for many years 💪🏼 🏏
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow Kinloch Cricket Club

Tomorrow we welcome our friends from Blairgowrie Cricket Club to Elliot Road for a mixed Adult/Junior friendly. Both teams will play 7 juniors with 4 coaches making up the numbers to give onfield guidance and support.

Game starts 6pm and will be a maximum of 20 overs per side.

🏏 Match Report: Blairgowrie Cricket Club

BCC played two matches at Rossie Priory on Friday night, losing the first but bouncing back to win the second.

A big well done to all of our kids and also our four debutants, all girls, who represented the club for the first time. The first game was a little chaotic, but the team showed much better concentration in the second match and were rewarded with a win.
