Many thanks to the 27 shooters who made it to our 50th anniversary Super Final on Monday 4th August and for the 9 who were unable to attend we missed you!!

Colin Moore set up another testing layout of 50 targets over 6 stands with the vast majority of scores being in the 30’s.

In fact only the following 3 shooters made it to 40+ and consequently they are our winners.

Very well shot guys and thank you to all who attended over the four anniversary series shoots.

One club record was maintained over the series in that in our 50 years we have never recorded a straight in any competition or on any regular Sunday morning event so the challenge is there for you all to aim at.

Well done to all the shooters across the Super Series evening shoots, and a big thanks for all your support.

Here is the final list of 36 qualified shooters from all those who shot at least two of the shoots.

The Super Final on 4th August will be shot over 50 birds for just £10 so you are all winners already!!

On the night if you think you are in the running for a top three place please do not leave the ground as we will have a ‘shoot off’ to determine the winners and if you are not there then you forfeit.

Five of these 11 had already posted a qualifying score for the super final and therefore the following additional
shooters have now posted a qualifying score.

Simon Pitts 37, Andy Chastney 37, Reuben Box 36, Tristan Holloway 33, Tom Davage 29, Andy Barratt 27, Nick Carter 26, Jeff Prince 26 & Ben Merrigan 25.

Very well shot Dave & Bryce and there is £75 waiting for you. If you want to shoot off for it please let us know and you can do that at the next shoot.

A reminder that shooting a qualifying score is just the first part of gaining a place in the super final. You also need to have shot at least two of the
three qualifying rounds (regardless of score).

These top 15 scores have provisionally qualified for the ‘Super Final’ and provided they all shoot one of the remaining events regardless of score, will do so .
Jerry Wolland, who is unable to shoot the other events has relinquished his spot already so that Graham Kurle who shot 35 has been moved into a qualifying spot.

Don’t forget to book in for the next evening shoot on Monday 9th June. When I’m hoping that with all the above shooters out the way a few of us who had an off night 😂🤦‍♂️ can qualify, thanks for the support and great turnout 👍🏻
