Before we start publishing new signings and captains/vice captains etc. The club would like to announce the players who signed for the Stars during last season:

CRAIG BROWNETT
Craig joined us from our local friends Bedwellty from the third game of the season. A very experienced and canny front row player and was an ever present during the season; playing 17 games. The highlight of his season was being on the end of a cross field kick to score a try in the corner.

JOHNATHAN PEARCE
Another experienced front row player who joined the Stars towards the end of last season and due to work commitments could not make as many games as he would have liked. We are hoping he will be available more next season. A Blackwood youth product. Played his senior rugby with Senghennydd, moved to West Wales and played for St Clears and recently moved back to the area to join his brother Nathan Pearce in the Stars rugby family

KALEB WILLIAMS.
Joined the Stars towards the start of winter. Haven't played rugby for a number of years and looking to restart his rugby career since playing for Abercarn. Works very hard in training played 5 games for the Club and we are looking forward to him kicking on next season and continue to bring his huge commitment to the squad

BILLY IRELAND
English player who moved into the area and works with 2 ex Stars players who recommended the Stars rugby family to him. Strong 6 foot 5 inches 2nd row. Played 8 games for the Stars. He has huge potential and looking for him to kick on next season

IEUAN WHITE.
Stopped playing rugby at 16 and turned 18 this season and played his first senior game for the Stars scoring a try in his debut game. Suffered a knee injury in his 2nd game which is now fully recovered and very keen to kick on next season another player who has huge potential

DAN PROSSER
Joined the Stars after an enforced lay off. Played for a number of clubs before joining the Stars but has settled in well in the Stars rugby family playing 11 games and scoring 38 points. We are looking forward to Dan playing a full season for the club next season when he should potentially score over 100 points.

Players meeting on Thirsday at the StarsBar at 8:15 after social touch rugby.

All existing, new and old players welcome. Also any youth players starting their senior career next season are more than welcome. Come and have a look at our special clubhouse just of the towns high street and have a chat to the coaches. Savour our Stars rugby community atmosphere.
