🏆 Shiskine Junior Club Champion 2026 🏆

Congratulations to Jack Dunn (15), who has been crowned Shiskine Golf Club Junior Champion 2026, defeating his younger brother Angus (13) in a fantastic 12-hole final.

Jack, who also won the Championship in 2024, produced some outstanding golf when it mattered most. A brilliant bunker shot at the 10th, which struck the pin and left a tap-in, gave him the momentum before a superb 30-foot putt on the final hole finished just inches away to secure victory.

To cap an outstanding Championship, Jack also won:
🏆 Junior Club Championship
🏆 Donald McGillivray Shield (Best Scratch Qualifier)
🏆 Alexander Cup (Best Stableford Qualifier)

This year's Championship attracted 11 junior golfers, and the standard throughout the qualifying rounds was exceptional, with scores that would have challenged many adult members.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who gave up their time to score, mark cards and support the juniors throughout the competition. Your help makes events like this possible.

The future is looking bright for junior golf at Shiskine, with plans already underway to expand next year's Championship by introducing additional qualifying opportunities and new competitions to encourage even more young golfers to get involved.

Despite the wind and the closure of the String Road, we were delighted to welcome 90 ladies from Ayrshire, Argyll and all around Arran to Shiskine for this year’s Ladies Open.
