KENDOSTAR JAPAN - WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Since announcing KendoStar Japan, we have seen a few questions and some understandable confusion about what it means for KendoStar.

The most important thing to know is this: KendoStar Japan is an expansion, not a relocation.

WHAT IS KENDOSTAR JAPAN?

KendoStar Japan is a new warehouse and international shipping centre in Fukuoka, Japan. It expands our global operations and brings us closer to the Japanese suppliers and craftspeople who make our equipment.

IS KENDOSTAR UK CLOSING?

Absolutely not. KendoStar Ltd in the UK will remain as active as ever.

Our UK and Japan operations will run side by side, allowing us to provide an even better experience for customers around the world.

WHAT WILL THIS MEAN FOR CUSTOMERS?

Operating from Japan will allow us to offer:

• A broader range of products
• More customisation options
• Faster delivery for many customers
• Even closer relationships with Japanese suppliers and craftspeople

WHAT ABOUT ANDY?

Andy remains CEO of KendoStar Ltd in the UK and is also President of KendoStar Japan LLC.

He will divide his time between both businesses, ensuring that each team is properly supported and that KendoStar continues to provide the highest possible level of service.

WHAT ABOUT THE KENDO SHOW?

The Kendo Show is not going anywhere.

The work involved in establishing KendoStar Japan has temporarily interrupted our upload schedule, but regular programming will resume shortly. We also have plenty of brand new content planned and coming soon.

Huge congratulations to on becoming the Canadian National Champion! 🏆🇨🇦

We are incredibly proud to see Natasha stepping onto the floor at the Canadian National Championships in her Original VANGUARD Bogu Set, and coming away with the title.

In Natasha’s own words:

“After months of training and competing in this bogu, I was proud to step onto the floor at the Canadian National Championships with it and come away as National Champion. 🏆

The Vanguard has been with me through the intensity of preparation as well as competition, giving me the protection to train hard while feeling light and mobile when it matters most.

Grateful to have this set with me on the road to the World Championships. 🔥🇨🇦”
