Fantastic Training Tonight at Thornton Health Centre!

A huge well done to everyone who trained with us this evening. It was certainly a warm one, but that didn’t stop our students from giving 100% effort and showing great determination throughout the session!

It’s always fantastic to see so many dedicated students working hard, supporting each other, and continuing to improve their Taekwondo skills.

⚠️ Reminder: There is NO class tomorrow (Thursday) at Baines High School, 6:30pm–8:00pm for one week only.

✅ All school classes will continue as normal.

If there are any changes or updates, we will post them in the WhatsApp groups.

What a great evening of training in the sunshine! It was fantastic to see so many students making the most of the beautiful weather and working hard outside.

Tonight we focused on advanced kicking techniques, including jumping kicks and spinning kicks, with everyone showing great effort, determination, and improvement. We then finished the session by working through patterns to help cool down while continuing to sharpen our skills.

A huge well done to everyone who attended and gave 100% effort throughout the class.

Keep up the hard work, and we’ll see you all at the next class!

Happy Father’s Day

Today we would like to wish a very Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads, grandads, stepdads, father figures, and male role models within our Northern Taekwondo family.

Thank you for the early mornings, the lifts to training, the support from the sidelines, the encouragement after tough sessions, and for always believing in your children. Your dedication helps our students achieve their goals both inside and outside the dojang.

We also know that Father’s Day can be difficult for some. To those members whose fathers are no longer with us, or who are unable to spend today with them, we are thinking of you.

What a brilliant morning of Taekwondo!

Our 9:00am – 9:30am Mini Taekwondo Tigers had an amazing session developing their balance and coordination, using beanbags and balls to improve their movement, focus and agility. It’s fantastic to see our youngest students growing in confidence every week!

Our 9:30am – 11:00am class then got straight to work on basic techniques, patterns, three-step sparring, before our higher grades finished with advanced black belt patterns, refining every detail and continuing their journey towards excellence.

A huge thank you to all of our dedicated Masters who inspire and develop the next generation of martial artists. Your commitment is truly appreciated.

And finally, a very Happy 13th Birthday to George!
We hope you’ve had a fantastic day and enjoyed celebrating with your Taekwondo family!

Fantastic class tonight at Baines High!

Another brilliant session with everyone working hard on their basics, preparation and the final details of each technique, perfecting those patterns and getting fully prepared for the upcoming grading.

It’s fantastic to see the progress everyone is making through dedication, focus and determination. Keep practising at home and those small improvements will make a huge difference!

A big well done to everyone who attended tonight, and thank you all for your patience while we’ve been using the smaller room.

The good news is that we’ll be back in the sports hall at the end of next week! We can’t wait to have the extra space again.

Another Fantastic Session at Thornton Health Centre!

What a brilliant class tonight! It was fantastic to see everyone working so hard, improving their Taekwondo skills, and giving 100% effort throughout the session.

FANTASTIC CLASS AT BAINES HIGH SCHOOL TODAY!

🎉 A huge welcome to all of our new beginners – it was great to have you training with us and becoming part of the Northern Taekwondo family!

Today’s class was packed with energy and hard work as students practised:

It was fantastic to see everyone giving 100%, supporting each other, and improving every week. The dedication and enthusiasm shown by all our students was brilliant!

What a Fantastic Morning at Blackpool Sports Centre!

We kicked off the day with our Mini Taekwondo Tigers, who had an amazing session working on their kicking skills and smashing through our fun punch boards! It was fantastic to see them developing their balance, coordination and confidence while having so much fun.

A huge welcome to all of our brand-new Mini Tigers and new beginners! We’re delighted to have you as part of the Northern Taekwondo family and can’t wait to see you progress on your Taekwondo journey.

Our 9:30am–11:00am class (ages 6 years to adults) then got straight to work with drills designed to improve sparring, kicking techniques and patterns, with everyone showing fantastic effort and determination.

⏰ Don’t forget – TODAY is the closing date for Colour Belt Grading applications! If you haven’t handed your form in yet but would still like to be considered, please get in touch as soon as possible.

🚨 A LITTLE MESSAGE TO OUR BIGGEST FAN… 👀🥋 🚨

✨ Some people celebrate success.
✨ Some people inspire others.
✨ And some people… create fake profiles and troll peoples achievements.

At Northern Taekwondo, we’ll keep doing what we’ve always done – changing lives through confidence, respect, discipline and hard work.

Every medal, every grading, every smile and every achievement our members earn is something to be celebrated, not criticised.

To the person hiding behind the fake profile… we’re genuinely sorry that our members’ success makes you feel that way.

Just one little thing though… the internet isn’t quite as anonymous as you think.
We know who you are.

Don’t worry, we won’t be naming or shaming you. That’s not who we are.

Instead, we’ll keep cheering for our students, supporting our families and building each other up while others try to pull people down.

We’re not responsible for how others feel. We’re responsible for how we act.
And we’ll always choose kindness, positivity and encouragement.

So here’s to our incredible members… keep working hard, keep smiling and keep proving that success speaks louder than trolls ever will. 🥋🏆❤️

Fantastic session tonight at Thornton Health and Fitness Centre.

Our students worked hard on kicking techniques, blocking drills, patterns and practical self-defence, showing great focus and determination throughout the class. It was also fantastic to welcome all of our new beginners – we hope you enjoyed your first session and look forward to seeing your progress!

Thank you to everyone who attended and made it another brilliant evening of training.
