The boys travelled to Barrowfield today for a match against Celtic Football Club and they worked their socks off. A really tough 90 mins but the boys managed to have some really good moments and were able to grab a few goals themselves.

There were loads of positives and learning opportunities to take away from the game which will no doubt stand the boys in good stead for future.

Massive thanks to Jack and Willie for having us in. It’s greatly appreciated.

Another solid win for the boys today to finish joint top of their group and secure a semi final place.

It was the first time the boys had attempted to play football on a ski slope and they done well to keep their composure in amongst a small but raucous home support. A host of missed chances made the game tighter than it had to be but its job done for the boys and an undefeated start to the season.

On to tomorrow where the boys travel to Barrowfield to take on Celtic.

All the best to Airdrie for the rest of their season.

The 11 hardy souls dug out another great performance as we scored a late equaliser to take the game to penalties after going a goal up.

There weren’t many clear cut opportunities for either side as both defences played really well so the game was a real midfield battle.

5 excellent penalties saw us take the bonus point to join Drumsagard at the top of the group with 1 match left to play.

Again credit needs to go to the boys for their fitness levels and resilience to come back from a goal down late on.

All the best to Drumsagard for the rest of their season and the boys turn their sights to Airdrie next week.

3 games in 7 days with 11 players, no subs and these boys have shown how hard they work for each other and their fitness levels to keep going. Would have been easy to give up at times but they never. Very proud coaches and parents 💚
Hopefully, our injury crisis is over and the full team is back in action next week 💪🏼⚽️

The boys were punished with another slow start today going 1-0 down in the first half. Burnbanks work rate made it very difficult for the boys to find any sort of rhythm in their play.

After the break we were far more composed on the ball and started to find space to play and control the game and went ahead with 2 wonder goals from Rhys.

It was another breathless second half performance and the fitness levels shown for the same 11 boys to have played 3 games in 7 days with no subs and to be finishing games the stronger side is remarkable.

On to a top of the table clash next week against a flying Drumsagard side.

All the best to Burnbank for the rest of their season.
