Hi all,

We hope you are all keeping safe and well.
It is with deepest sadness to have to say that unfortunately at the moment we are still unable to reopen.
We have been following the latest guidances carefully and liaising with the relevant authorities. BUT, We fall in to the category of "indoor fitness clubs" . Which means that we are still on the list of businesses that have to remain closed.
I want to assure you that we will keep you informed and that when we do eventually reopen we will be adhering to all of the guidance given to us.
Hopefully it won't be too much longer and I wish I had better news to share, as soon as we know anything we will be in touch, both through her and through post/phone calls etc.

I would like to thank you for your support through these times and ask that you do keep in touch with us and do keep practising and reviewing the content I have put up for you already. Revising what you already know will be a Massive benefit to our return aswel as your current health! I am always here to help if you need and Hanshi is at the end of a phone!

Morning All,
Hope everyone is safe and well. Two videos going up today for Kata practice the first is for all grades, especially my group, the second is for Yellow +. Please excuse the quality of the videos as I did not have alot of room to do this, if you are unsure of anything please let me know and I will try to help you through it. It is important we keep up our practice.
We understand no one is going to be perfect on our return but practising will make it a bit easier.
Let me know if you have taken part, all who do will be in the running a student of the month and Hanshi N is posting prizes out to people who are making the effort!

The first video is Kion Kata ich, the most basic that we do. All grades to give it ago!

Some Goshin do this week guys! Practice safely!! This can all be done like a Kata, with an invisible partner. These techniques do not require strength just good technique! Just a quick note, this is my daughter in the video so social distancing is not an issue, we are both licenced and insured to do this.

Hi all,

Another little challenge for you. This week we are looking at stretching and a little bit of anatomy, we will be doing alot of these excersises when we return so keep practising!

I have run through this video quite quickly, as to not bore you too much, but I want you to hold each move for a minimum of 30 seconds each. Everything must be done on both the left and the right side.

Part of this week's task is naming the area of the body we are stretching and if you can, identifying and naming the muscles we are using. For each part of the routine I would like you to comment with the area and names of the muscles being used. Just give it your best try. Can you also name the muscles in the legs and the arms?

IMPORTANT NOTICE.

Hi all,
you should have recieved a letter from Hanshi this week, it is very important that you reply to this on the number provided.

We need to know who is expected to return when we re-open. Failure to reply can result in your place being lost or even worse, without the correct numbers we may not be able to reopen.

We need to be able to plan ahead for our return so we can run classes as safely as possible and stick to guidelines. Please respond as soon as you have recieved the letter. AGAIN, WITHOUT THIS INFO THE CLUB MAY NOT BE ABLE TO REOPEN.

I personally do not want all of our hard work to be for nothing!

We understand that you maybe unsure, if you are then please let us know. I can assure you that all precautions will be taken and guidelines will be followed when we are allowed to return. If you are unable to contact Hanshi then please message me and I will pass it on.

Hi all, hope you have had a great weekend, shame the weather turned a bit colder though! After last night's update we are still none the wiser as to when we can re open yet, but as soon as we know you will be informed!

So while we still have time off please remember to keep practising! Hands up who enjoyed the videos? Would you like more? Unfortunately I am not as technical as Lewis but hope you found both videos helpful and entertaining! (big thank you to Lewis for putting that together)
