🌟 Our hearts are absolutely bursting after today’s performance! 🌟
We are truly overjoyed. What a pleasure it was to have you all backstage, the excitement, the buzz, the laughter, and the way everyone soaked up the whole experience together made the day feel magical.
We were so incredibly proud of each and every performer who stepped onto that stage. The comments we’ve heard from backstage, front of house and the audience have been nothing short of amazing. We are always grateful for the beautiful feedback we receive, but this year has been beyond anything we’ve ever heard before.
Hearing other academies and stage crew speak so highly of our students, their talent, their kindness, their behaviour, their happiness, it means the world to us. They couldn’t believe how wonderfully all age groups mix together, something we are especially proud of as a Red Shoes family.
A huge thank you to our wonderful chaperones who gave up their free time today. Those quick changes were no easy task, yet you handled them with your usual calm, skill and dedication. A special mention must go to Kerry and Amy, who travelled all the way to London to support the team especially with Kerry’s daughter no longer at the Academy and Amy having finished her training with us many years ago. Your loyalty and love for Red Shoes never goes unnoticed, and we appreciate you more than you know.
It was also so touching to receive kind good‑luck messages from our graduated students. Knowing you still think so fondly of your Red Shoes family means everything to us and we think just as much of you.
And of course, to our incredible Red Shoes families parents, grandparents, carers and everyone who supports our dancers not just during show season but all year round thank you. Your dedication, organisation and encouragement make days like today possible.
Not forgetting bringing props to the theatre, loaning us a steamer so our performers can look the best, steaming costumes and sewing back stage all truly superstars.
