****🔵BONUS BALL UPDATE 🔵****

The team bonus ball is still going strong. A big thank you to everyone who continues to buy numbers week in, week out, to support the boys! ☺️💙👏

As of yesterday, the National Lottery are now drawing 2 lines on a Saturday night meaning there will be two bonus balls drawn every week.
For transparency, the decision has been made that the bonus ball in LINE 1 will be our bonus ball winner; otherwise there will be a need to split the winnings and significantly reduce the return.

Well done to our winner Joe Walker with number 44 last night 👏💰

Great effort from the lads today. The lads played some cracking football and passed well as a team; they all put a good shift in on the pitch, pressing hard and defence was strong. We saw some beautiful saves from Toby throughout the game, keeping a clean sheet in the first half of the game. A fantastic penalty from Isaac helped the lads take the lead in the second half but the opposition equalised shortly after.

The boys played their fourth game of the spring cup today in the glorious ☀️and went up against a very talented seaburn juniors team.
A very tight first half but the boys ended the half with a 1-0 lead.
Seaburn equalised early in the second half but the boys reacted brilliantly taking the lead again soon after and took control of the game.
The effort from the boys today was superb and everyone put in a solid performance !
Was great to see the boys create so may chances and show the physical side of their game. Great win for the lads 💪🏻

Solid performance from the boys against a strong physical Hebburn team, took a while for the lads to get into the game but once they did the lads played for quality football scoring plenty of goals !

This was always going to be a hard game, Richmond stormed the league and will no doubt go onto back to back promotion.
Honestly couldn’t be prouder of the boys and the effort and attitudes of them all, after going 4-0 down they brought the game back to 4-3 and got themselves back into the game. Unfortunately Richmonds quality proved to much for the lads on the day and went on to win by comfortable margin but the boys came out of the game with their heads high ! Left it all on the pitch💪🏻

SILSKWORTH FC vs GATESHEAD

First game of the Spring Cup! 🌸🏆

This morning the lads went up against a strong Gateshead side. Despite a very early goal from Seb T, it was a slow start from the boys. It took them time to find their feet today and the opposition took advantage of that. At half time, the opposition were 3 goals up.

However after a stern talking to at half time, and reminder of what they’re capable of, the lads came back fighting in the second half and absolutely stormed the game. It was a great game to watch; the lads played some lovely football and battled til the end resulting in a draw!

The attitude from the lads today was absolutely unbelievable. Every single one of them were class. They dominated the second half and deserved the point today!

Seth - Seth was sold in defence today. He was physical, battled with his opponent and never gave up! Well done Seth 👏

Mason - As a result of injury, Mason stepped up for the team, out of his comfort zone and agreed to go in goal. He did a fantastic job and made some lovely saves. Great sportsmanship Mason 👏
