As we get ready to launch our new Tuesday evening lessons at The Splash Academy, Bolton, I thought it would be the perfect time to introduce myself to all of our new and prospective Rainbow Swim families 🌈💙
Hi, I’m Adele!
I’m a former national swimmer and have been teaching swimming for over 22 years. Throughout my career, my passion for making swimming accessible, enjoyable and inclusive for every child has continued to grow — ultimately leading me to create Rainbow Swim.
Alongside my swimming background, I hold a BA (Hons) in Advanced Studies of Early Years, which has given me a deeper understanding of how children think, learn and develop. My most recent qualifications include Autism Swim training and Aqua Sensory Certification, which has shaped the way I teach and support swimmers both in and out of the water.
Perhaps my greatest learning experience, however, has come from being a mum to neurodivergent children. It has opened my eyes to the importance of child-led learning and strengthened my belief that every child deserves to feel seen, heard and understood.
No two swimmers are the same, and that’s exactly why no two swimming journeys should be either.
My goal is to support every swimmer in a way that works for them — celebrating their strengths, understanding their individual needs, and adapting to their unique learning style so they can build confidence and thrive in the water.
I am incredibly proud to now offer a continuous swimming journey from Bath Babies right through to Adult Lessons across our venues in Brinscall, Blackburn and now Bolton.
