NEWSIES 🗞️ Our final bows were taken on Saturday night and brought our production of Newises to an end and what a blast it’s been. Bernése kids have smashed it once again and showed real growth, talent and enjoyment on stage. Every single cast member involved truly contributed to make the show what it was and to see them up on stage having the best time is what it’s all about for us at Bernése. We couldn’t be any prouder of you all. With amazing songs, dance numbers and a passionate story line I just had to introduce Newsies to them and our audience and show everyone something other than your regular MT show. It didn’t disappoint. The feedback we’ve had has been tremendous. I want to say the biggest of Thank-yous to all the parents for committing to Sunday rehearsals and making sure your child was showing up each week. A massive Thankyou to our amazing chaperones who always come out on top and support in every single way possible. You’re a special bunch ❤️ Another shout out to Anna Cryer for literally everything. You’re now booked for our future Musicals 😅 Yohuga! Atherton solved the dilemma with our special newspapers and printed the specific headlines we needed to make our papers look authentic. Can’t Thank-you enough! More Huge thanks to Alex and Ryan Blackburn Empire Theatre who helped every step of the way . Finally a big thank you to my wonderful team Estelle Broadhurst and India Kate Almond who are unreal in all they do always going above and beyond for Bernése .
