Katrina's Dance & Arts Academy Katrina's Dance and Arts Academy is a dance and performance arts school based in Blackburn est 2003. Dance classes for beginners through to seniors.

All our dancers have the opportunity to perform on stage, from festivals, competitions, showcases, events and at our annual show at The Empire Theatre, Blackburn.

KDA award winners 2026! A big well done to everyone who won an award this year and to everyone who attended our fabulous awards evening where we partied like it was 1926!

Incredibly proud of all the hard work and effort that has been put in over the past year. KDA AWARDS PARTY 2026 - 1920s style…🖤

On Saturday evening, we celebrated the culmination of another amazing dance year at our annual KDA Awards Party! We were totally wowed by everyone’s 1920s-inspired costumes; everyone looked fabulous and embraced the theme!

We started our night with our awards presentation, followed by a fantastic Hip Hop performance, ‘Peaky Blinders’, from our Advanced and Senior girls - a highlight from the summer show!

And of course, we couldn’t finish the night without a well-deserved disco! 🪩

Thank you to everyone who came along, it truly was such a special evening; a perfect way to celebrate another incredible year…

Congratulations again, to all of our dancers who received their Performance Awards, and to all of this year’s trophy winners ⭐️

Well done to KDA student, Louiza, who is filming for CBBC Saturday Mash-Up!

Following an application and online audition & interview, Louiza has been selected to take part in this Saturday’s Episode!

Louiza will feature as a contestant from Lancashire on the 1st in the series this Saturday 5th September from 10.00am!

Please tune in at home between 10am - 11am to watch Louiza as she competes against another contestant live on TV!

(Programme starts at 9.00am)

We’re now enrolling for our September term at Katrina’s Dance & Arts Academy! 💫

Our Acro classes are a fantastic way to develop strength, flexibility, balance, limbering, coordination and tumbling skills; all while having fun and building confidence! 🤸‍♀️✨

All classes follow the AcrobaticArts structured syllabus and official examinations available for students who wish to take them.
