Hours: Casual / Flexible – evenings, weekends and school holidays
Pay: Competitive hourly rate, depending on experience
About Blackburn Dart Zone
Blackburn Dart Zone is an exciting indoor activity centre providing Nerf Wars, Dart Zone battles, birthday parties and group experiences for children, families, schools and adults.
We're looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and confident Casual Supervisor to join our team and help make every customer's visit a fantastic experience.
The Role
As a Casual Supervisor, you will help oversee the day-to-day running of sessions and events, ensuring they are safe, well organised and enjoyable for our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising Nerf/Dart Zone sessions and birthday parties
- Welcoming customers and providing excellent customer service
- Briefing groups on activities, rules and safety
- Supervising children and young people during activities
- Ensuring equipment and activity areas are safe and ready for use
- Setting up and clearing away equipment
- Dealing confidently with customer queries
- Supporting staff and helping sessions run to schedule
- Completing basic opening/closing duties
- Following health & safety procedures and reporting any issues
- Taking responsibility for the venue when required
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Over 18
- Confident and friendly
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable supervising children and groups
- Able to take responsibility and make decisions
- Enthusiastic and energetic
- Professional and customer-focused
- A good communicator
- Able to remain calm when things get busy
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends and school holidays
Previous supervisory, leisure, children's activity, hospitality or customer-service experience would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
