With SFA-accredited coaches, top facilities, full kit, and a clear path to U20s/first team, we train Mon & Wed at New Murrayfield Park.

💦 That’s a wrap on the season! ⚽

Our final training session ended with plenty of laughs, lots of water, and a few players and coaches getting absolutely soaked! 😆💦

As we head into a well-earned summer break, we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey this season. To our players for their commitment and effort, our coaches for their time and dedication, our families for their unwavering support, our supporters for cheering us on every step of the way, and our sponsors for helping make it all possible – thank you.

We’re already busy planning our End of Season Celebration Night and look forward to coming together to celebrate the achievements, memories and friendships that have made this season so special.

🏆 County Cup Final – A Team to Be Proud Of 🖤⚽

Unfortunately, it wasn’t to be our day in the County Cup Final, as East Calder CFC came away with a 5–3 victory.

A huge congratulations to East Calder CFC on winning the final and lifting the cup. 👏🏆

While we’re disappointed with the result, we couldn’t be prouder of our Blackburn United Blacks players. The team showed fantastic character, determination, and never-give-up attitude throughout the match. After a tough first half, they battled brilliantly and made the second half an exciting contest, pushing East Calder all the way and showing exactly what this group is capable of.

This season has been an incredible journey for the boys. The progress they have made, both individually and as a team, has been outstanding. From where they started to reaching a County Cup Final, they have worked hard, supported each other, and represented Blackburn United with pride every step of the way.

To our players, coaches, parents, and supporters—thank you for your commitment and encouragement throughout the season. Today’s result doesn’t define this team. What defines them is their effort, their development, and the way they continue to grow together.

Special mention to Max and Kian, who got on the scoresheet for Blackburn United in the final. ⚽⚽

🏆 CUP FINAL DAY! 🏆

The day we’ve all been working towards is finally here.

Months of training, teamwork, dedication, and determination have brought us to this moment. Today, our Blackburn United Blacks take to the pitch for the County Cup Final against East Calder CFC.

No matter what happens when the final whistle blows, every player should be proud of the commitment, effort, and passion they’ve shown throughout the season. Finals are earned, not given, and both teams deserve great credit for reaching this stage.

Today is about giving everything for your teammates, respecting your opponents, and representing the club with pride. Play hard, play fair, and enjoy every moment of the occasion.

Good luck to both teams – may it be a fantastic game played in the true spirit of football. ⚽🤝

🏆 ONE WEEK TO GO UNTIL THE COUNTY CUP FINAL! 🏆

Just one week remains until our Blackburn United Blacks boys take to the pitch in the County Cup Final.

At the start of the season, this was a group of players taking their first steps into 11-a-side football. Fast forward to today, and through hard work, commitment, teamwork, and determination, they have earned their place in a County Cup Final.

Next Saturday brings a huge challenge against a strong East Calder CFC side who have enjoyed an excellent season and will provide a tough test. We have great respect for our opponents and look forward to what promises to be a fantastic final between two deserving teams.

Our boys have worked tirelessly throughout the season, supporting each other, overcoming challenges, and continually improving as both players and teammates. To reach a cup final in their first year of 11-a-side football is a remarkable achievement and one they should all be incredibly proud of.

Finals are about more than trophies. They’re about enjoying the occasion, making memories, and showcasing the character, effort, and spirit that got you there.

Whatever the result, these boys have already done themselves, their families, and Blackburn United proud.

We’d love to see as many supporters as possible come along and get behind the team as they look to finish an unforgettable season in style.
