🤾‍♀️ Focus on maintaining possession: being on the move, getting free and using space.

🏃‍♀️ Warm up
⏱️🏐 Possession netball in groups - min number of passes before taking to goal, then timed!
🏐 Then netball!

Blackburn League Result: Centre Storm

A tough match this one but despite that these ladies still bagged a bonus point against an experienced Bridge the Gap. Your resilence and togetherness shines through with you always coming off court with smiles on your faces having just enjoyed playing. A bit of a break for you now with a bye and then no league games for a couple of weeks but it's great to see how well you are doing 🩷

🚦🦶 Warm up: Traffic Light Footwork & a Footwork/Reactions Competition
🔃🏐 Small groups Drill: Rectangle Balance/Pulley System to balance space: progressive drill
🏐 Then netball!

Blackburn League Result: Centre Storm Win 🎉

1st win on board in the league for these ladies! A very even 1st half scoreline wise kept both teams in the hunt with Centre Storm taking the 3rd quarter to go into the lead. They held steady in the 4th to see home the win!

We are super proud of you ladies! Congratulations on the win 🎉 Keep up the good work 🏐

Timing/Spacing/Getting Free!

🌧 We are asking to use the indoor hall due to the weather forecast.

🤾‍♀️ Focus on timing of our drive to move onto the ball, awareness of space, use of prelim moves.

🟠🥚 Warm up: Sort the cones (team comp), don't break the egg (no eggs involved 🤣). Bit of team work & communication!
🧐🏐 Group Drill: 4 corner team timing - progressive drill.
🏐 Then netball!

What's on Guide June & Mini Tournament!

Here's your "What's on guide" for June! 😊.

We are looking to run a mini tournament on the 29th June. We'd have space for up to 5 teams on the eve. If anyone is initially interested in putting a team in or being part of a team please comment below so we have an idea of interest. We do ask that teams are B2N or equivalent to the bottom div in the Blackburn League (or that you are one of our regular attendees). We'll get more info out in the next week or so!
