What is Yoga for a healthy spine?

It combines breathing exercises, Hatha & Somatic yoga and the use of props to support the body. This combination makes it ideal for all levels including complete beginners.

A typical class starts lying down with a short relaxation and meditation. We then progress through a variety of lying, kneeling and seated postures to gently warm, mobilise and strengthen the body. Standing postures focus on alignment, balance and stability.

Each class finishes with a relaxation in ‘savasana’ where we bring ourselves into complete stillness for a short guided meditation.
