Good evening Divas 💃

Just a quick update to the class timetable, unfortunately I am having to pause my Wednesday Nifty Divas class at The Empire Theatre for the moment. No further classes will be ran at this venue until further notice.

However Thursday's at St Francis Church Hall Cherry Tree are still going strong every Thursday 11.00am-12.00pm.

This isnt the end of our collaboration with the amazing Made for Stage, its just a brief hiatus whilst we go back to the drawing board to work on a few ideas.

In the meantime I have limited availability in my freelance diary to offer my expertise as a level 2 gym instructor/ exercise to music instructor and health and wellbeing expert. I can offer a range of physical activities to existing organisations/charities/nurseries/care homes/childminders/groups etc on one of/regular basis at a very competitive hourly rate.

As well as running local fitness classes I run a successful online Preloved clothing business specialising in selling vintage and Y2K ladies fashion on a live streaming app called Whatnot. ✨ Freelance Dance & Fitness Sessions Available ✨

Happy Wednesday Divas 💃

Alongside running my lovely weekly Nifty Divas sessions, I now have some limited availability in my diary to take on some freelance dance, movement and fitness work.

I’m a qualified Level 2 Fitness & Exercise to Music Instructor with 8 years of experience teaching a wide range of ages and abilities, and I’m passionate about making movement fun, inclusive and accessible for everybody.
I specialise in:

🧓 Movement & exercise for older adults
🎵 Preschool dance & music sessions
💃 Inclusive sports, music & dance activities for adults with disabilities

My previous experience includes working with Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council as a Health & Wellbeing Instructor, as well as delivering sessions in schools and community settings.

I’d love to work alongside groups, charities and organisations to provide engaging weekly sessions at a competitive hourly rate.

Happy Monday Divas 💃

We are back to business this week with both Nifty Diva classes running. So you have two opportunities to join me (or come along to both if you are feeling extra Diva 💅) for an hour of fab moves, fitness and most importantly fun 💃

Numbers are building nicely on a Thursday morning but I've been feeling kinda lonely at our Wednesday class at Ewood 😭 We have a great space at the amazing Made For Stage UK studios. With it being a smaller space than our St Francis venue and a new class, this is perfect session for beginners to join and not feel overwhelmed and learn things at your own pace. That being said, all abilities are welcome at both sessions, there's never any pressure to be perfect in my classes, it's about trying your best, having a laugh and improving week on week. As my moto goes " Any movement is better than no movement at all" 😁

Happy Easter Divas,

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend and are now finally enjoying some nice weather. 🌞

Little class update for this week:

I've decided to book a very last minute get away for me and Georgia until Wednesday so for this week Nifty Divas class 11.00am-12.00pm at Empire Theatre Ewood is CANCELLED!!!!

We will however be back Wednesday night so Thursday's Nifty Divas class at St Francis Church Hall Cherry Tree 11.00am-12.00pm will still be on.

We had a great turn out last Thursday in stark contrast to the no show Wednesday class 🙈

15 ladies joined us on Thursday which is the busiest class we've had in weeks 😁

If you'd like to join me this Thursday 9th April there's no need to book just turn up with yoyr dancing feet ready £5 Pay as you go!

We will be back at the Empire Theatre the following week 🥰

There is nothing more humbling when you're a freelance instructor and work for yourself, than when you turn up to teach at your venue and absolutely nobody turns up 😢

Nobody sees the work you put in behind the scenes creating the routines, the class plans, the responding to messages, advertising, constantly being available etc etc.

Most people only see businesses at the forefront and when they are thriving. Thats often due to business owners only showing the high light reel and successes they achieve (I've been guilty of this is in the past too)

I'm not putting this post up because I want sympathy, I'm putting it out there to show that not everything in business or working for yourself is smooth sailing at times it REALLY HARD!!!!

But Rome wasn't built in a day, so I will keep pushing to build an even bigger Diva tribe, dust myself off and go back to the drawing board because if there's one thing I am it is resilient.

I am so passionate about building classes that bring joy and fun to the fitness industry no matter what your age or ability is. That one quiet week isn't going to stop this girl 💪💃

Good evening lovely people, sorry I have been super quiet on the page for the last week or so I've been busy with my other job selling vintage/Y2K clothing online- your girls a multitasking Queen 👸👑.

Both Nifty Divas classes will still take place this week: Tomorrow at The Empire Theatre Ewood and Thursday at St Francis Church Hall Cherry Tree both running from 11.00am-12.00pm

Regarding the following weeks classes, I will make decision whether to run both or take a break for Easter depending on this weeks attendance numbers. Class updates will be post on here/sent out via WhatsApp 😁
