🏆 Tournament Winners! 🏆

A huge congratulations to Glenside Juniors U10 Jaguars, who were crowned champions at the Mellor Juniors Tournament.

The Jaguars were outstanding throughout the day, finishing top of their group before holding their nerve to win a thrilling final on penalties.
Another fantastic achievement for a team that continues to develop, compete, and make us all proud.

🏆 DARWEN FC GOLD CUP WINNERS! 🏆

A huge congratulations to our Glenside Juniors U10 Lions on winning the Darwen FC Gold Cup today! 🦁💙

The boys were outstanding throughout the tournament, playing some fantastic teams and showing incredible determination, teamwork and character from start to finish.

The final was a real nail-biter, ending 0-0 after a hard-fought battle. With everything on the line, the Lions held their nerve and came out on top in the penalty shootout to lift the trophy! 🏆

We couldn’t be prouder of every single player. Their effort, attitude and togetherness were there for all to see, and they fully deserved their success.

A big thank you to Darwen FC for organising a brilliant tournament and providing a great day of football for all involved.

🏆 Tournament Winners! 🏆

A huge congratulations to our Glenside Juniors U13 Lions, who were crowned champions at the Blackburn Eagles Tournament this weekend.

The lads were outstanding throughout the day, showing great teamwork, determination, discipline and quality on the ball. They represented the club brilliantly both on and off the pitch and thoroughly deserved their success.

Winning tournaments is never easy, and this achievement is a credit to every player, coach and parent who continues to support the team week in, week out.

We would also like to thank Blackburn Eagles for organising a fantastic tournament. The event was well run, competitive and enjoyable for everyone involved, providing a great experience for all the players.

Well done to all the teams who took part, and a special congratulations once again to our U13 Lions on bringing home the trophy!

🏆 CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WINNERS 🏆

A huge congratulations to Glenside Juniors U10 Pumas, who were crowned Champions League U11 winners at Bolton Wanderers Stadium on Saturday.

After a slow start to the tournament, losing their opening game and drawing the second, the boys showed incredible character to turn things around. From that point on they were simply outstanding, not conceding another goal for the rest of the competition.

They finished top of their group, recorded five consecutive clean sheets, came through a dramatic penalty shootout, and then completed the perfect redemption story by winning 1-0 in the final against the very same team they had lost to in their opening match.

A special mention goes to Ellis, who was deservedly named Player of the Tournament. He produced some outstanding saves to keep the team alive in the second game and then saved a penalty in the shootout to send the Pumas through to the final.

Every single player played their part and should be immensely proud of what they achieved. Winning a tournament while playing a year up is a fantastic accomplishment. And of course, we can't forget PT's absolute screamer of a goal 🚀 Keep an eye on our Facebook feed for some amazing videos taken on the day.
