BJFF Teams Unite to Support Trinity Hospice Charity Bed Push

BJFF is proud to be supporting an incredible local fundraising challenge in aid of Trinity Hospice.

During the week commencing 6 July, a specially adapted hospital bed will be pushed over 110 miles between Trinity Hospice sites across Lancashire, with the ambitious aim of raising £100,000 for this fantastic local charity.

The final leg of the journey takes place on Saturday 11 July, travelling from St Anne's to Fleetwood before finishing at Trinity Hospice in Bispham.

We are delighted that teams from across BJFF have volunteered to take part in a relay along the route, with players, coaches and parents coming together to help push the bed and raise vital funds for a cause that touches so many families across our community.

To make the day even more memorable, the event theme is Superheroes, so expect plenty of capes, costumes and smiles along the way.

Trinity Hospice provides outstanding care and support to local people and their families when they need it most. Every donation, no matter how large or small, will help them continue their amazing work.

We would be incredibly grateful if all BJFF families, friends and supporters could get behind the challenge and support the fundraising effort.

A few weeks ago, our U12 Lasers reached the JB7 Cup Final and finished as proud runners-up after an agonising penalty shootout defeat. The boys gave everything from the first whistle to the last, showing tremendous character, determination, and teamwork throughout the competition. While the result didn’t quite go our way, reaching the final is a fantastic achievement and one they should all be incredibly proud of. A few weeks ago, our U7 Spartans had the incredible opportunity to play at Wigan Athletic’s stadium in front of proud family and friends. It was a fantastic experience for the boys, who loved every minute of it! They played a great game against a brilliant Wattsfield side, with both teams putting on an excellent display. A day full of smiles, memories, and football that the boys won’t forget anytime soon! ⚽💙🤍
