📚 Always learning. Always growing.

This weekend I’m continuing my studies with Yoga Medicine’s Yoga for Athletes training. While many people think of athletes as runners, cyclists or gym-goers, the reality is that anyone who wants to move well, build strength and stay injury-free can benefit from the principles used in athletic training.

There’s a huge crossover between yoga and sport. Athletes need mobility, stability, balance, breath control, recovery and body awareness. Yoga develops all of these while also helping manage stress, improve focus and support long-term movement health.

For me, ongoing education means I can continue bringing the latest evidence-informed approaches into my yoga classes, health coaching and personal training sessions. Whether you’re an athlete, a busy professional, navigating menopause or simply wanting to feel stronger and move better, these principles can help you build a more resilient body and mind.

Investing in my learning means investing in the support I can offer every person who steps into one of my classes or works with me 1:1.

Move Through Menopause is back

I’m so pleased to share that the next Move Through Menopause course will be starting again on Tuesday 28th April -6.30-8.00 pm.

This is an 8-week course designed to support women through perimenopause, menopause and post menopause with the right blend of education, movement and support.

Each week we’ll cover key topics such as:
• Hormones and what’s really happening in your body
• Nutrition to support energy, mood and weight
• Sleep, stress and mindset
• Strength training and movement for long-term health

Alongside this, you’ll experience a variety of movement sessions including yoga, strength work and other fitness styles to help you feel stronger, more confident and more in control of your body.

This is not just about exercise, it’s about understanding your body and learning how to support it through this stage of life.
