💔 We have had to say goodbye to our queen…. Our beautiful girl, Lily.
She was ready to go, I wasn’t ready, how can you ever be???
I want to honour our beauty & the amazing memories she has given us. So many of you have followed her on her journey with us. From the day we rescued her, through the years, and her online presence with my Pilates classes. (generally on her back with her legs in the air).
The irony of her story…… we rescued her whilst living in the Midlands. Apparently her family surrendered her as they were moving to Devon and the accommodation they had to go to would not take dogs.🤷♀️💔. their loss turned into our huge gain. With the amazing help of Sara Louise Harris we were allowed to take her, it was love at first sight for us all. It took some work, patience, and tons of love to help her as she hadn’t really been trained. But she slotted into our family like it was meant to be. 3 years later we felt a huge pull to move to Devon. I’m pretty sure it was Lily‘s way of guiding us here, living her own dream life too.❤️❤️
Lils was so many things to our family. A wonderful friend and loyal companion. A goofy playmate but always there for the kids no matter what they needed. Her unconditional love, constant and unwavering. Eyes that looked so lovingly right into your soul. For me she was my best friend, shadow and all round best girl. I know time will heal, but for now there is a big Lily shaped hole in our hearts. 💔. I hope we gave her the life she truly deserved.
Thank you for being the best girl Lils. Rest easy now sweet girl. We love you so much, until we all meet again #########x
