🩵🚨Water Safety Week🚨 🩵

This week our swimmers have been taking part in our termly Water Safety Week and learning some of the most important swimming skills of all — how to stay safe in and around water. 🌊

Throughout the week, swimmers have been practising:
✅ Safe entries and exits
✅ Floating and recovering to a standing position
✅ Treading water
✅ Swimming in clothing
✅ Understanding different water environments
✅ Calling for help in an emergency
✅ Learning what to do if they unexpectedly fall into water

Water safety is a vital life skill, and we're incredibly proud of how well all of our swimmers have engaged with the activities and discussions this week. 👏

At The Standen Swim Academy, we believe swimming lessons are about much more than learning strokes — they are about building confidence, independence, and the skills that could one day save a life. ❤️

A huge well done to all of our swimmers, from our youngest Ducklings right through to our advanced stages. You have all been amazing! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️
