We have spent over a decade changing little lives. And we're not done yet.

After more than a decade of babyballet I still get emotional thinking about it.

The number of little lives we've been part of.
The shy ones who found their voice and their confidence.
The wild ones who learned to take turns and turn into wonderful pupils.
The tiny ones who stood on a stage for the very first time and made their family cry.

Every single one of them came in as one thing.

And left as something more.
More confident. More themselves. More school ready.
And we got to be part of that.
Week after week. Class after class. Tiptoe after tiptoe.

What does standing on a stage in front of hundreds of people actually do for your child?
Confidence
When your little one walked out onto that stage at the babyballet show, they did something most adults find terrifying.
They stood up. In front of a room full of people. And they went for it.

Just turn up. Every week.

That's genuinely it.

Because here's what happens when you do.

Week one everything is new.
The room, the teacher, the songs. Your little one is figuring it all out, feeling all the emotions and being unsure.

Week two something starts to feel familiar. You might not even notice it yet but they do.

Week three they know what's coming next. They are excited to see twinkle and teddy.

And that feeling is where the confidence starts to creep in.
Something will have shifted. I promise you.
Not because we did anything magic.
Just because they came back. And then came back again.

To the tired mum of a tiny human.

We see you.

We see you showing up every week even on the days when getting out of the house felt
impossible.
We see you sitting at the edge of the circle just willing your little one to join in without you.
We see you smiling at the teacher whilst holding back the tears

And we want you to know
You don't have to have it together to come here.

You just have to come.

In whatever state you arrive in.
With however much sleep you got.

We are celebrating our 13th babyballet birthday today! 🥳🥳 Time has flown by so quickly and we are very proud to have been doing what we love for so long! 🥰 Expanding in to St.Albans and Harpenden has been incredible, it was a dream for many years, and we can’t wait to grow babyballet East Herts and West Essex, St.Albans and Harpenden even more in the future!

Thank you to all of our little stars and their grown ups, past and present, for all of their support over the last 13 years. We have loved dancing with you all and look forward to many more years of pointing our good toes!

Some days my child just isn't feeling it.

And that's okay too.

Some days they walk in full of excitement. They know every move. Every song. Every moment.
And you think yes. This is it. This is why we come.

And then some days they just... don't. They sit. They cling. They watch. They're grumpy, tired, hot or just a little bit off.

And that's not a bad class.
That's just a Tuesday in the toddler world.

Here's the thing about toddlers and preschoolers. They are tiny humans with big feelings and zero ability to hide them.
If they're not feeling it, you'll know about it. 😂

But think about it this way.
Do YOU bring your best self to everything?
Do you nail every gym class, every work meeting, every school run?
Of course not.
Neither does your child. And that is completely normal.

An off day at babyballet is still a day at babyballet.
They're still hearing the music. Still watching their friends. Still in the room where the magic
happens. Even on the quiet days something is going in. ✨

What we never want is for you to leave feeling like it wasn't worth coming.
It was.
Showing up on the hard days is actually where some of the biggest growth happens.

So if your little one had an off day this week. Please don't worry. Please don't compare. Please
don't wonder if they're behind.
They're not.
They're just tiny little humans.

We've never once judged a child for having an off day.
We've seen them all.
And we'll be here next week with the same songs, the same smiles and the same welcome.

The moment before everything.

Tiny human. Big moment.

Standing in the wings. Heart probably racing. About to walk out onto a stage in front of hundreds
of people.

And they did it anyway.

Can we just take a moment for that.

They waited in the wings and they walked out onto that stage like they owned every single
inch of it.

That's not just a performance.
That's confidence. Built week by week, class by class, tiptoe by tiptoe.

And we get to watch it happen every single time.
