We are a friendly, sociable badminton club comprising a mixture of male and female players aged 16+ (Younger is permitted when accompanied by a responsible adult). We have 2 club nights, Wednesdays 8pm to 10pm (Also known as The Wednesday Shuttles) and 2 sessions on Sundays, 4pm to 6pm and 6pm to 8pm (Also known as Hayley/Sunday Smashers Badminton Club). We play all year round at the Herts and Ess
ex Sports Centre, and regularly have enough players for three+ courts each week, playing mainly doubles. You will need to bring your own badminton racquet, though shuttles are provided (Wednesday play with feathers, Sundays are plastics). Excellent value - pay only when you play. We are always on the look out for new members, so if you are aged 16 or over, can play badminton to a reasonable standard (sorry no beginners) and want to join our fun but competitive club, please contact us!
