New season, new opportunities to run

🏃‍♀️ A typical week at the club 🏃‍♂️

1st September means back to reality and there's no better way to start back than with a busy week of running, training and, most importantly, having fun together! 🙌

Here’s what’s coming up:

⚡ Tuesday – Intervals
A short, sharp session designed to improve strength, stamina and speed.

🍻 Wednesday – Social Run
A chance to get some miles in, have a chat and enjoy running together.

🏃 Friday – Track Training
Working on speed, running technique and fitness with a structured track session.

🔥 Saturday – Intervals
Another opportunity to challenge yourself and get some quality training in.

Thanks to all who attended this wonderful event yesterday to celebrate 150 years of Hockerill Cricket Club. The weather was on our side and the forecast rain stayed away until the very end. Great fun, great food and great compliments on our newly refurbished bar. Here's to the next 150 years!

The field will be sprayed with w**dkiller and fertiliser today. It could be harmful to dogs, please be cautious for the next day or so.

During the evening of Tuesday 23 July we will be hosting the finals of the HEBL league T20 Cup and Plate competitions and the club be busy.
We have marshals arranged to direct traffic and have arranged overflow parking but please do let us know if there are any issues.
It should be a good night and the bar will be open so please feel welcome to pop along and watch 🏏

Afternoon all, I just wanted to advise you that the field at Hockerill Sports & Social Club will be sprayed with w**d killer and fertiliser first thing tomorrow morning (Thursday 30 May). It should be dry by lunchtime but wanted you to be aware. Many thanks
