Otter Swim School The Otter Swim School can teach your son/daughter from beginner right through to ASA Gold Level.

If you are reading this it is likely that we have been recommended to you. The Otter Swim School takes pride in being one of the most popular swim schools in the area with a reputation built by word of mouth we believe this is because of the following reasons:
All our teachers are level 2 ASA qualified teachers and are fully CRB checked
We only have 6 children per class for beginners (with the t

eacher and an assistant both in the water with the class)
We have only 8 children per class for intermediate and above
We run classes at three sites, evenings and weekends are available
Your child will have the same teacher each week
The Principal of the school is always on poolside to oversee the running of each lesson

The Otter Swim School will be closed from today, Wednesday 18th March in response to the new government guidelines to help combat the spread of (COV-19). We will reopen when the government changes its advice.

All Herts and Essex Swimmers - the pool is now fixed and ready to use. Wednesday lessons start again on 9th October and Saturday lessons start again on 12th October. Thank you for your patience whilst the repairs were carried out.

Unfortunately lessons at Herts and Essex this Saturday (5th) have been cancelled. The pool and boiler are repaired but the pool will not reach adequate temperature in time for Saturday.
We hope to resume lessons on the 12th and will update you further next week.

SWIMMING LESSONS CANCELLED FOR TONIGHT. Please accept our sincere apologies but due to a broken pump at Herts and Essex pool we are unable to hold swimming lessons tonight (18/9). We will extend the current term by 1 week to make up for the missed lesson. Again apologies for the inconvenience.
