Probably the most stupid idea I've had...

This Sunday is my first ever Marathon... Let's just say training hasn't gone as planned (I haven't managed a run more than 13.1 miles)

But I'm gunna give it my best shot even with an injured hamstring.

And all in aid for this amazing charity

I haven't pushed the fundraising at all as I wasn't sure if I was going to attempt it.

It’s heartbreaking to be posting this.

I’m not one for asking for help.

But In 28 days I’m faced with closing Apex Strength and Wellness

This isn’t just heartbreaking for me, but for everyone in the community who uses this facility.

This place is so much more than a gym.

“A second home”

A place with anyone no matter of ability is welcome to train.

A place where I see confidence grow. I see laughter and happiness.

Physical training is for everyone… that’s why Apex is different.

Imagine the feeling of walking without a stick and being confident to do so.

What other gym can your client get you doing cartwheels and teddy bear rolls 🥲

I can tell you so many stories on how this place benefits so many people.

There will be a big loss in the community to see it close its doors.

I entered the fitness industry to help adults and children with SEN, I know first hand how this place brings joy.

But we cater for everyone, my eldest client is over 80! My youngest is 6…

So please help if you can, no matter how small and please share 🧡

I’m gunna be honest with you.

The last few weeks I haven’t been consistent and we all know consistency is key 😅

And identifying that is also key…

I’ve let life take over a bit and when I’m less consistent with aspects of my life,

I feel it.

And it’s nothing to be ashamed of because none of us are perfect.

It’s about what we do, to find that consistency to get back to feeling like you’re bossing life.

So this week going forward I want you to pick one thing in your life that you wish was different…

And let’s get that changed for good.

It could be something like I want to be “more active”

so let’s increase your steps by 500-1000… you don’t have to move mountains to make a change.

Small steps big wins.

Life is full of hurdles and things out of our control.

So let’s control what we can.

Let me be your accountability buddy.

Because as well as being consistent, accountability is also a missing link that’s stopping you get that dream body 🧡

Holidays are fun so don’t get stressed/ worried/ overwhelmed about the actual holiday diet.

Or the aftermath.

A week away isn’t going to put you back to point zero.

Enjoy yourself. But also

Just because it’s a holiday doesn’t mean you have to go completely wild.

Because you probably will feel s**t when you return.

My clients work with me so we can make changes that when they are on holiday, they have fun, guilt free.

But they also do that when they are at home too…

Because it’s all about balance

Creating better habits.

Losing weight isn’t just for a quick fix.
