Blast Dance Academy

Blast Dance Academy Recreational and Competitive Dance classes in Bishopbriggs for ages 2 + Dance school in Bishopbriggs with almost 20 years experience.

We have fun no pressure recreational classes teaching ballet, tap, modern, hip hop, lyrical, stage and commercial for ages 2 upwards. These classes take place on Saturday mornings/early afternoon for anyone in S4 and below and on Tuesday evenings for anyone in S5 and above. For pupils in P1 and under we have a second fun recreational class on Fridays at 3.45pm for Pom & cheer dance

We also have

competitive classes for those looking to push themselves a little and join one of our competition teams. We compete in Pom, jazz/lyrical, hip hop and cheer dance from P2 upwards. Competition teams generally compete between 1-3 times a year depending on age. All pupils are invited to take part in our optional annual show in June

Our aim is to always remain affordable to all which is why we keep our class prices as low as possible and offer family and multi class discounts. We also run fundraising events to keep competition costs low and run a swap shop for parents to have access to second hand kit. There is no pressure to buy any expensive training wear that pupils grow out of quickly �

The countdown is on for our Annual Summer Show! Join us on 20th & 21st June as our dancers take to the stage for an unforgettable weekend of glitz, glamour and all things Vegas! 🌟💃🕺

SCOTCHEER 2026✨

Well that was an emotional rollercoaster of a weekend. We are really proud of every one of our 10 teams who stepped onto the Caird Hall stage last weekend! we loved watching you all compete and were filled with so much pride!

we hope everyone had a great weekend! we’re such a proud coach and we put out 10 really strong routines that athletes should all be proud of!

Coach Karen spent the day on Wednesday last week renewing her first aid qualifications with other local dance teachers to make sure we continue to keep our pupils safe!
