Choi Sul Hapkido Academy Welcome to the 1st Choi Sul Hapkido Academy, a martial arts school based in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow.

Hapkido is vibrant, effective and practical Korean martial art, unlike most martial arts, is a complete system consisting of joint locks, kicks, punches, and striking attacks. Students are also trained to use traditional weapons, including a sword, rope, nunchaku, cane, short stick and staff. Friday night and Shannon Mcdowall sitting her 2nd Dan. Some of the techniques made me feel sorry for Wullie Bird as he got thrown about like a chip poke in a pub carpark. With a few minor adjustments shazza will be a great asset to the club moving forward(needs more controlled aggression) 5th Dan Matt Tollan had no problem overseeing the grading and was quite taken with her ability to control the attacks. Well done Shannon.
