BTC Junior Club Championships 2026

Well done to everyone who came along at the weekend and played in the club champs. It is great to see the progression from everyone compared to where they were last year - the quaity of the finals keeps going up 💪

Big thanks to James for organising, and to the coaches and volunteers for helping run the event. A big congratulations to our winners too 🏆

Great two days of tennis at our club championship finals weekend. Thanks to everyone who came along to watch, participated, baked, tidied up and organised. And to the weather for bringing us lots of sunshine ☀️

We now have a used tennis ball recycling container located in the shed at the club.

We are recycling these via Bounceback who will ensure that balls are given a second life rather than going to waste. Once the balls are collected they are split them into different batches depending on condition. Some are taken to dogs charities, some go to schools and some are resold responsibly (mostly as dog toys).

So please pop your old balls in the green container in the shed and they will be given a whole new life! 🎾

We will be hosting our annual BTC Charity Shield event on Sunday 26th of July. The aim of the day is to raise money for our chosen charity for 2026, East Dunbartonshire Foodbank.

The Charity Shield event is for senior players (and those juniors who play in a senior team), it will be a round robin tournament and is played for fun and to raise money for charity. The tournament will start promptly at 12.30pm and run until 5pm.

Please ensure you are available the full afternoon if entering the tournament.

Refreshments will be provided (home baking donations welcome!)

Cost is £5, payable by transfer to club bank account, REF - Surname & Charity Shield.
