Starting with the foundations! No matter what your current level is you can always find a benefit in re-visiting the basics.

-Run through target locations, strikes and parries.

-Build up to training line games that improve flow, reading your partner and telegraphing strike

-Finishing with a switch up of training partners to ensure that all these principles can be followed with every member of the group.

👬 Part of what makes our sessions is familiarity, the more you practice with a sparring partner the more you can read their tells and techniques. 👭

⚔ Having a safe and repeatable combat style allows us to keep everybody from combatants to spectators safe whilst performing. 🙌

🤺 But most of all, fighting together is the key, when one person isn't feeling confident the other picks up the slack. When you have a story to tell it takes the partnership to tell it effectively. 🎉

New year. New skills. New challenges.

If you’ve been thinking about trying something different this year, this Sunday’s Battle Ready session is a great place to start.

We train historical combat for display and stage — focusing on control, safety, discipline, and techniques that look powerful while staying safe for you and your training partner. Most weapons can be covered and we're open for beginners and experienced movers alike.

No pressure, no prior experience needed — just a willingness to learn something new and step outside your comfort zone.

Start the year by building a skill set you won’t get anywhere else.

We've had an action packed session today with a wide array of skills on show.

There was Single Sword, Sword and Dagger, Sword and Shield, 2v1's, 3v1's & Jian (Chinese Straight Sword) being used to great effect.

Tonight, we’re back in action!

Join us for two hours of high-energy combat training where you’ll sharpen your skills, build confidence, and train like a warrior. Whether you're brand new or a returning fighter, we’ve got drills, routines, and plenty of sword-swinging fun lined up.

Expect movement, technique, and a few laughs along the way. Come ready to learn, sweat, and leave feeling battle ready.

💥 No experience needed – just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to give it a go!
