🕊️ It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce the passing of one of our Firebirds founders Rachel Jones.
From the early days of a group of likeminded ladies on a local park, to playing in tournaments on a regular basis, Rachel was our integral link … and the club would not be where it is now without her hard work and dedication ❤️

She worked tirelessly to keep the club going when things didn’t always pan out at the start and then guided it to become part of the Bishop Aukland FC family.

💙 There are no words to express how much she was loved by each and every one of us, and there will be a place in our hearts that can never be filled.

🕊️Our thoughts and love go out to her 2 beautiful boys and her family at this truely heartbreaking time🕊️

Bishop Auckland FC ladies will be arranging a tournament to honour the memory of Rachel
