What a weekend for our Juniors! We had the first NOTAN athletics competition for school years 3-6 at Churchill. 13 Hawks & Falcons ran, threw and jumped their hearts out, with some top 3 finishes to boot. It’s a great fun and friendly introduction to competition for our young athletes. Run entirely by lovely volunteers who create a supportive environment for all participants.
And an incredible Northumberland Schools Championships for our performance squad, under the expert coaching and guidance of Noel .
Joseph came first in the inter boys 3k with a championship record of 8:56! 😮
Kasper was first in the inter boys 800m
Tom was second in the inter boys 1500m
Ella was third in the junior girls 1500m
Ayda was third in the junior girls 800m
Ben was third in the senior boys 800m
Absolutely fantastic 💪👊🤩👏. We are so excited to see what our next gen green and golds are already achieving. Massive congratulations to everyone who took part and a huge thank you to their coaches and families for their support, time and effort. 💚💛
