Our first session of the year may’ve been cold, but the play was hot! Our players dropped, tapped and smashed their way back into the new year 🥳

Here’s last night by the numbers:

26 players
Average 8 matches per person
Average match duration approx 8 minutes 25 seconds (excluding warm up times)
The average match scores 21-16 (excluding anomalies from the reset like 21-6 and 24-22)

Newbies may be asking, what’s a rank reset?

We reset everyone’s rankings on the games system - ebadders - so that everyone can start from 0. Nothing says fairness like starting on the same playing field 🏸

Merry Christmas everyone! 🎄🥳

As a present from us, we’ve booked everything you asked for:

The same date (the 1st Saturday in December)

The same start time (6:30pm)

More awards 🏆

Dinner in a private room within budget (up to £50pp)

And ANOTHER private room for an after party in a nearby venue (only 2 minutes walk away!)

We’ll be able to book for up to 50 people, and the after party can accommodate up to 90! Players, family, friends, all will be welcome!

We won’t be taking deposits for a good while, but save the date in your diaries.

In January, we’ll be having a rank reset. This means, everyone’s going to start from 0 and will earn their new rankings! 💪🏻

Since our final session is casual (no ebadders), here are some stats:

We had 88 NEW people in 2025

With 229 TOTAL having attended at least one of our sessions

Our Christmas/end of year meal scored approximately 9/10 by our members.

Our survey said you wanted to have dinner on the same date (the first Saturday in December), with a private room for dinner and for the afterparty. This is still in progress, but for now,
