By offering good quality information, advice and guidance to participants; we will help them to enhance a more independent lifestyle whilst building on their confidence and soft skills. We are an independent organisation.

hi all just to let you know of our Christmas parties and activities at Thomas pocklington and with our outreach groups. From Thursday 11th December till Wednesday 24th December we have various activities and parties here at pocklington with our tenants, staff and volunteers.

Our outreach groups around Birmingham are also doing activities and meals as follows, St Peters (walk in group) are going to star city on Tuesday 9th December to watch a Bollywood film and enjoy a meal after, Ravers are also going to star city on Thursday 11th December to bowl and do laser quest as well as enjoy a meal too, our real eyes ladies group are off to Cadbury world on Wednesday 17th December and lastly our Erdington zimba eyes group are having a meal at Gavinos in wylde green on Thursday 18th December.
If anyone hasn't been aware of the above activities/outings and wants to attend can you please let me know as soon as possible so I can add you to the list. Many thanks shazia 07772666648

Hi just to let you all know I am starting up a new group from st Barnabas church in erdington as of Tuesday 2nd December between 11am till 1pm this will be a social active group and will take place the first Tuesday of every month so for those of you who live within the surrounding area and have a visual impairment please come along for further information please call me on 077726666478 thanks shazia

Hi all I will be holding a BME event on Saturday 8th November between 11am-3pm at Thomas Pocklington 100 Chatham Road Northfield B31 2JW. There will be various entertainment from a DJ to Bollywood style dancers as well as fun and games. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day and lunch is included. Also sight loss awareness stalls will be there for you to get any information from and this will promote sight loss awareness within the BME community. Hi all, we are having a Garden Fete at Pocklington Place 100 Chatham Road Northfield B31 2JW on Saturday 6th September 2014 at 11AM to 3PM. This will include stalls, games, raffle, Guide Dogs sensory tunnel, bouncy castle plus more and not forgetting a BBQ at a small charge. i hope you all can attend.
