Zest Dance

Today was the day where I was going to announce the reopening of Zest dance classes from the 7th November... but unfortunately the government announced yesterday that we are going into a second lockdown as of the 5th of November. This includes the closure of gyms, leisure centres, dance studios and swimming pools. I am truly gutted to say that Zest dance will not be reopening until lockdown is lifted again. I want to thank everybody for their continued support at this uncertain time! I am truly sorry to Zest's amazing dancers for not being able to continue to do what we love to do... dance!

KEEP ON DANCING AND WE WILL BE BACK SOON 💃🏽
Under the new government guidelines Zest Dance will not be opening as of yet due to covid-19 restrictions in leisure centres/ gyms (as Smethwick leisure centre is still closed).
We was hoping to return for a few weeks running up to the summer, I will let everyone know a date as and when I find out. If not, it is with a heavy heart that Zest Dance will not reopen until September (when the children return to school). We here at Zest Dance would like to thank you all for your continued support and we miss all our dancers very much! We will come back bigger and better than ever! 💪🏼🎉 keep safe and thank you for your patience, Jade (principal at Zest Dance) 💕

Dear Zest dance parents and pupils

I had hoped to open this month in June but as we are based in Smethwick swimming centre, gyms and leisure centres arent open as of yet and i have been notified that dance schools come under “ a non essential business”. Therefore it will be just a few more weeks until we can open our doors again!

Please be assured that I will have done everything in my power to keep your children safe on their return. Strict safety measures will be implemented, this includes frequent cleaning of the dance studio, washing of hands upon arrival and when leaving class, socially distance markings will be set out and also a temperature check on the way in.
This has to be in place for all of our safety!

As soon as I have a confirmed opening date I will contact you all, I have missed my dancers so much and cant wait to return!

Due to the recent closures of the gyms, schools and all social situations. Zest dance will no longer be running until further notice. We hope you can all appreciate the circumstances at this time and we will keep you updated as to when the classes will be back on. But for now, we want to thank you all for your continued support and please look after yourselves and loved ones. Take care! 💕

Well done to all of Zest's dancers today! They work so hard every week and always strive to do their very best. We are so lucky to have such kind and caring dancers, who always make everyone feel welcome. Plus, we always have a good giggle every Saturday! So thank you Zesties 🍋💃🏽🎉🕺👏

We are still taking on newbies for 2020, so if you know a child aged 5+ who LOVES TO DANCE.... then come to Smethwick swimming centre on Saturdays, 11:15- 12:15pm. We swap dance styles each week so the children get the very best out of the dance classes. A big well done to all the girls at Zest dance! They have been working extremely hard today in preparation for our Christmas dance show. Well done girls, keep up the hard work!...

INFORMATION ON ZEST DANCE... please read!
As of tomorrow our class will be extended to an 1 hour. The new times are 11:15am- 12:15pm. This give us more time to rehearse for our Christmas show!
Please note that our second class has now joined together with our first class so our finish time is 12:15pm.
Also can I please remind parents that they have to go and pick your child up at the end of class (unless it is your first time at the dance class) this is so the children do not get distracted and is a standard rule in every dance school, please take note as it will benefit the childs confidence and concentration.
