Look what Dave, Chris and John are having for dinner every night for the next month! You can guess what this means!!

All things being equal we are back at Grove Hall on the 22nd of May. Plenty of precautions will be take, including limiting mat sizes to 15 students per session. Places are filling up fast so if you want to reserve a space drop us a line!

Looking forward to seeing you all (perhaps not looking forward so much to the salad) ;)

Morning all.

We are really missing our Saturday sessions. But as you all know our sport is contact based and we are really struggling to understand how to make it fun and worthwhile for you before starting back.

We are always planning, and with this in mind we were thinking about temporarily moving Saturday mornings to the Frankley club. We know this site is Covid Secure, and has a lot of equipment we could use to help us train but maintain our social distancing.

The downside is it is a little more of a journey for some of you, and like anywhere we have looked at we would have to restrict numbers.

What are your thoughts?

Hi All,

It is with great regret, but alongside a feeling of it being right and correct, that David, Chris and I have decided to postpone our Saturday JuJitsu classes at Grove Lane until further notice.

As discussed last week, we felt it was correct to follow the lead of the schools, and with the announcement today we feel it is right to stop training for now.

In all honesty we are gutted. I personally, have trained almost every Saturday morning for over 6 years now, and really have no idea what I will do with my time. But getting under my wife’s feet, who has had her Saturdays to herself for so long, may require the use of my self defence skills 😉

Thank you all so much for your support. We all keep the club going because of you guys and your kids. We are really blessed to have such great people around us and we will be back to training as soon as we can.

Obviously the grading will be moved so can you assure the guys that they won’t be missing that. Sensei Paul does have his classes running until Saturday, those that attend his Monday high grades classes should contact him about the possibility of grading on Saturday with him.
